My deepest condolences go out to you for experiencing such a difficult time.
After the death of my nephew, I suspected that there were many parents out there consumed in their loss and with no-one to help them. Parents who have lost a child, people like you who have suffered an ectopic pregnancy and yet had nowhere to turn. But I didn’t know how to tackle this problem and provide them with the support and relief that they so desperately needed.
The media and all of my friends and community around me always said that grief was something personal, that people would get over it and that time heals all wounds. That it was better to leave bereaved parents alone to heal. Many people didn’t want to speak about ectopic pregnancy at all, as if not speaking about it meant it never happens. Others lack any understanding of what an ectopic pregnancy is which only leads to clumsy questions and insensitive comments. And there exist so many opinions and judgements about how we should treat parents who have suffered an ectopic pregnancy – but no real support or understanding.
For some women who suffer an ectopic pregnancy, because it can happen early in the pregnancy, they may not be aware they were expecting – but this doesn’t make the shock any easier to cope with. Ectopic pregnancy can also be dangerous and very painful – making your loss even harder to understand and process as your body deals with this. It can be shocking, devastating and an absolute storm of emotions that drain you. We know this and this is why we want to help you understand ectopic pregnancy and how you can learn to find life again after your tragic loss.
Over the next few minutes I’m going to reveal how we can help you and grieving parents just like you. You will discover that there is understanding out there and that you can believe in a life after your loss. I will show you how you can make that first step on your journey today.
The information I am going to share with you can change your life. It can give you a life again after the heartbreak of an ectopic pregnancy – a life that doesn’t forget your loss but a life that honours this.
This is something that you owe to yourself and to your child, to act upon now. Because for every moment that goes past without the right support in place for you, without someone to talk to who truly understands your ectopic pregnancy experience, is a moment too many where you don’t have the support you should have.
The pain you have suffered is awful and your heart has been shattered with a loss that seems very unfair, unexplained and unexpected. Your baby was your baby and this wasn’t ‘meant’ to happen. It hurts so much and you may be wondering “Why me?”
The pain you are feeling right now has another dimension though which you need to be aware of –so you need to take a minute to step back and consider:
What if this is a pain that doesn’t go away, or diminish? What will you do? A grief that you can’t process. A loss that you can never fully understand. Even though it may seem hard now, if you don’t take action now, if you don’t allow us to help you, reliving your loss continuously may be something that stays with you.
